KRUSHIBAL ROTARY CULTIVATOR
Introduction
Krushibal Rotary Cultivator is a multipurpose implement suitable for field operations, after harvesting of first crop. It prepares the soil in a short time for the next sowing operation. It is operated by Tractor Power take-off (PTO). The implement performs four separate operations in one stroke i.e.,
1. Removing &cutting roots of crops & mixing them into soil
2. Ploughing
3. Breaking Clods & Pulverizing the soil
4. Levelling the soil
Krushibal Rotary Cultivator is also useful in Paddy farms for puddling. In horticultural farms this implement is used for inter-cultivation operations, removing weeds & mixing organic matters thoroughly with soil.
Technical Specification
Krushibal Rotary Cultivator is a totally gear-driven implement. Two rotor types, L – Type & T – Type, are available depending upon the type of soil & crop. It consists of blades attached to a disk on a horizontal shaft, which is perpendicular to the direction of motion of the tractor. The tynes are fitted in such a manner that not more than one tyne, at any particular instance, is cutting the full depth while entering the soil.
The power is distributed on all the tynes in a sequence, such that a minimum shock is transmitted to the rotor shaft, gears & transmission unit of the tractor. The shear bolt mechanism is incorporated as a safety device. Universal Cardan Shaft transfers power from tractor PTO to Krushibal Rotary Cultivator. The back cover of the Krushibal Rotary Cultivator helps to level the soil, so the levelling operation is done simultaneously.
